Sewer Intell takes the burden of watching endless hours of CCTV inspection videos, helping municipalities and contractors better utilize their personnel for more value-adding activities.

Sewer Intell assists in the following areas:
1) Inspection: the core strength of Sewer Intell is that it is powered by artificial intelligence and computer-vision algorithms to automatically review CCTV inspection videos of several formats (like the .avi) to find pipes’ defects, code them, and present them in the format requested.
2) Data digitization: the reports delivered by contractors have to be manually input into an asset management system. Sewer Intell can read these reports, quality-check them, and formulate the results in a format that is automatically imported into the asset management system.
3) Condition assessment: this feature allows maintenance planners to rate the condition of the pipeline helping them prioritize and schedule appropriately.
4) Maintenance optimization: when the conditions of the entire network are available for Sewer Intell, it uses several layers of optimization algorithm to prioritize maintenance given the conditions of the network and available resources (monetary and personnel), helping municipalities tend to aging infrastructure while being stewards of public dollars.

While the system is in operation, Sewer Intell does not collect nor broadcast any data. The results associated with processed data are stored locally on clients’ computers. Input data are kept in memory by Sewer Intell for the duration of the process and are lost on exit.
